Competed in cross country for the Cowboys including a fifth place finish at the Bulldog Invitational as a freshman.
 
High School: Winn High School
Graduated from Winn High School in 2014 where he competed in cross country and track & field for the Mavericks. He finished 53rd at the UIL Region IV Cross Country Championships in 2014. Finished third in the 3,200-meters at the 29-5A District Championships in 2015.
 
Personal:
Valentin is the son of Valentin Sr. and Ana Limon and has two brothers, Luis and Issac. Enjoys spending time with family and fishing during his free time.
